BFM® fittings are all Kosher.
Kosher certification is a standalone, international quality standard which is used to describe food and drink that complies with Jewish religious dietary law.
For a product to be kosher certified, and to qualify for a kosher certificate, each ingredient, food additive and processing aid used in its production must also be kosher.
Kosher Compliance is being increasingly demanded in the food sector, particularly in North America and Europe and we're pleased to advise that all BFM® fitting products have been approved as 100% synthetic and Kosher all year round, including for Passover.
(Please note that each Kosher certification authority provides their own certification symbol, or 'hescher' as there is no universal global Kosher symbol).
BFM® fitting is Halal compliant.
Halal Certification for the food and pharmaceutical industry confirms a product fulfills the requirements demanded by the Islamic Law for its consumption by the Muslim population.
Part of this certification requirement for Halal manufacturers means they have to ensure that their products are prepared, processed, transported or stored using appliances or media that are exempt from what is unlawful under Islamic law.
